The region of Vancouver is totally amazing. One of the interest of this city, it's the mix of the nature and the urban. Vancouver is surrounded of mountains and sea. The colors at the summer time are incredible. The touristic place is mainly downtown with her peninsula. First, if you want to have a quickview of the city and the surroundings is to have a flight by seaplane. Another place, also, is awesome by the view, it's the top of Groose Mountain accessible by a cable car and a chairlift. If you are looking for nice food or local food, two places are great for that: Granville Island and Quai Lonsdale. Robson Street and Gastown are good for shopping and restaurants. I advise you a quiet place inside the downtown to have a tea or coffee at this address 1016 Cardero Street. One activity to do is to rent a bike and bike around Stanley Park. Cycling path is easy and you can admire the marina, the Lions Gate Bridge, the sea and some beaches around the park. Otherwise, the city is clean. People are welcoming. Transportation is easy and convenient although you can cross easily the downtown by walk. If you have time in your trip, you have to spend time in Whistler, in the north of Vancouver. The nature and mountains are very beautiful.
