Serbia is located in Balkans. Belgrade is the capital. The city is crossed by the rivers : Danube and Sava. The main monument which is imposing in the city is the Sava church. It's near the Slavija square. From this place, you can follow the main avenue and go to the Republic Square. In this district, there is a lot of shops, bars and restaurant. You can walk easily in the city. The downtown is not really huge. Transport is also easy : bus and tramways. The city is quiet and very nice the summer. When you walk, you can see old buildings destroyed by the war in the past. One part of the city to visit is the park around the Belgrade fortress. From this place, you will have a great view on the Sava river and the other side of the city : The New Belgrade. Another tip : if you are very malignant, you can reach the Beogradjanka tower. At the top, you will enjoy to the awesome 360° view.
